Bio:

After successful stints in both Speedway Karts and Junior Sedans as a teenager, Liam Williams has now made the step into the Formula 500 ranks.

During his formative years in Speedway Karting and Junior Sedans, Williams was a consistent front runner and achieved podium results in numerous Victorian State Title events.

The move into Formula 500s came about late last season, and so strong was his impact, Williams achieved a feature race podium result and his maiden victory in only his second ever meeting. These results have given Williams plenty of confidence heading into the 2007/08 season.

Contesting all of the major Formula 500 shows on the East Coast of Australia, including the Oval Express Series and Australian Title, Williams is certainly going to be one to look out for, as he aims to work his way to challenging the front running teams.

The long-term goal for Williams is to one day step into the Sprintcar ranks here in Australia.
